WoolcockLocated in the inner-city suburb of Red Hill, Woolcock Street was a modest 3-bedroom workers cottage that had been largely untouched for the last 100 years.
The basic accommodations and living spaces have been expanded and the home has been transformed into a modern and functional living space.
Due to the limited budget, the key to this design was to keep it simple and appreciating the classical design elegance throughout the home.
A new kitchen, living and alfresco area were added at the rear almost doubling the home in size and space.
The three bedrooms, bathroom and dining area spaces in the existing home were renovated reflecting the original style and period of when the home was first built.
The result is a modest pre-war inner-city home with a blend of classical character designed with modern living in mind.
